About Saint-Emilion

As you approach Saint-Emilion, before entering the medieval town, you’ll be struck by the alliance between vine and stone. The vineyard scales hillsides, covers mounds and plateaus and stretches as far as the moat of Saint-Emilion, even creeping into the heart of the medieval town that was founded in the 18th century by monk Hermit Emilion.
